Golf Hecklers Light Up the ILPA Outing at Pleasant Valley GC

There’s no better way to spend a day than on the golf course, especially when you get to heckle a few swings along the way. The Golf Hecklers were back in action at the Iowa Limestone Producers Association Golf Outing, held at the beautiful Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.

Now, Pleasant Valley is known for its scenic views, rolling greens, and on this particular day plenty of water and sand. After a few days of heavy rain, there were even some four-wheel-drive fairway tracks. It was the perfect setup for laughter, great golf, and a few epic recovery shots.

We set up shop on Hole #4, a short par three surrounded by water on three sides and a bunker guarding the front. It looked innocent enough… until golfers started teeing off. Let’s just say a few sleeves of balls made their final resting place in the pond, and several players got to practice their beach game early.

Between the heckling, laughter, and “friendly encouragement,” we did get to witness some amazing shots and even hit a few ourselves to help raise money for the ILPA Scholarship Program. It’s all part of what we love about these outings: great people, a good cause, and unforgettable moments on the course.
