Habitat for Humanity – Columbus, NE | Elks Country Club

What a day in Columbus, Nebraska! We had the honor of being part of the Habitat for Humanity charity outing at the Elks Country Club, and the energy was top-notch from the first swing. Golf Hecklers set up shop on Hole 11 a short 140 yard Par 3 that, by the scorecard, is considered the easiest hole on the course. We’re here to confirm: that card lies.

Between the pond guarding the front of the green, a left side bunker that turned into a golf ball collection center, and not one but two greens flanking the target that took some unintended fire, it became clear that “easy” is a matter of opinion. A few folks even managed to turn this hole into a scenic tour of the neighborhood hey, it happens to the best of us.

The course was in incredible shape thanks to Derrick and the crew, who pulled off a minor miracle after soaking rains earlier in the week. Sunshine, solid swings, sketchy ones, and non-stop laughs made for a perfect day. We’re proud to support a cause like Habitat for Humanity and grateful for the invite.

Thanks for letting us razz, roast, and laugh alongside all of you. Until next time hit it straight, unless it’s a dogleg right.
