Golf Hecklers Invades Westerville, Ohio – Medallion Golf Club

What a day in Westerville, Ohio at Medallion Golf Club for Aldridge Electric’s 3rd Annual Golf Event  a fantastic outing helping raise money for Neighborhood Bridges of Ohio.

We posted up on Hole #1, a par 5 on the Rookery Course, where optimism was high… and golf balls were immediately sacrificed to the pond sitting in front of the tee box like it was collecting souls.

And let’s talk about the orange balls.

The tournament’s “money ball” quickly became the pond’s favorite snack. Safe to say a healthy number of those bright orange beauties are now resting peacefully in the underwater lost and found, right next to decades of bad decisions and overconfidence. Somewhere, a milk carton of “missing” tournament balls is getting very full.

As always, we saw every type of golfer imaginable   from absolute sticks striping drives down the fairway to the “Why did I sign up for this again?” crowd who looked emotionally exhausted before the first hole was over.

Some golfers came ready.

Some golfers came for laughs.

Some golfers came for the drinks.

And some came to personally donate golf balls to Ohio wildlife.

The vibes? Fantastic.

The laughs? Constant.

The trash talk? Corporate friendly-ish.

Now… there were maybe two golfers who took themselves just a tiny bit too seriously. You know the type. The ball sails directly out of bounds, they stare into the abyss like life itself betrayed them, and suddenly everyone within 50 yards is catching attitude.

Relax, homeslice.

It’s golf.

The game literally beats you up for four hours and somehow convinces you to come back next weekend.

All in all, an amazing event for an even better cause. Huge thanks to Aldridge Electric for having us out and helping support Neighborhood Bridges of Ohio. We had a blast laughing with everyone, heckling responsibly, and watching confidence disappear one swing at a time.

Until next time…
